the brief... Renovate the entire interior and waterfront gardens of this Noosa property, to reflect the strong personality its new owner. the solution... A new modern Asian style kitchen was fitted, using timber veneer panels to the ceiling to create a bold look. A similar treatment was used on the end wall of the main lounge area, housing a new gas fireplace and concealed audio visual equipment. The previous dining area has been transformed into a reading room, using laser-cut steel screens with a rusted patina finish and wall shelving. Touches of Asia are seen throughout, including tropical plants and flowers, huge ceramic urns and a lava stone sitting Buddha presiding. |
