Di Henshall Interior Design has extensive experience in the design, planning and fit out of commercial premises, including hotels, retail outlets and office space for real estate agents and medical practitioners. The two projects featured here illustrate how our solutions look beyond the standard fit outs provided by many commercial designers to go from ordinary to extraordinary results. Taylors Lakes Hotel is located ten minutes from Melbourne airport. We were engaged to provide the design for the fit out of a new wing to the existing hotel, comprising nineteen guest rooms. The brief was to create rooms that would appeal to the hotel’s diverse range of guests including corporate clients, families and passengers in transit. The scope of work included designs for custom made wardrobes, wall units incorporating bar fridges and luggage racks and custom designed furniture. |
The specialist medical suite pictured is located on the Sunshine Coast and started as a bare concrete shell, with little natural light. The end result is a magically illuminated space, with a reception/waiting area, three purpose built consulting rooms and staff kitchen facilities. The project was completed in four weeks and the clients were thrilled with the outcome – in their own words, “It really has been an amazingly flawless and enjoyable process for us”. |
