The Pavillions project on Hamilton Island was developed by Curry Kenny Goldburg in 2003 and comprises twenty-five three bedroom and penthouse apartments, set in the harbour on a marina. Initially Di Henshall Interior Design was asked to put together a generic proposal to give to each purchaser that would reflect the open spacious nature of the interior architecture and capture the relaxed informal North Queensland spirit. Later this proposal was modified to meet the requirements of each of the new owners. By using a neutral palette of colours as a background, with splashes of bright colour throughout the living and entertaining areas, the custom designed furniture and fabrics complement the lush, tropical setting around the development. |
